Doug Sahlin is the author of over twenty how-to books in the For Dummies series. He also has a voracious appetite for mystery novels. Sahlin has read many awful mystery novels. He never quite found an author he fell in love with, so he decided to write his own novels.
Before Sahlin wrote Dummies books, he authored two mystery novels. His protagonist was Yale Livingston. When New York Literary Agent Donald Maas heard the synopsis for his first mystery novel, he smiled and said, “Doug, you have a wonderfully sick mind.”
The good new for lovers of mystery novels is that Sahlin is once again writing fiction. His novels are fun and quirky. His first novel, “The Myakka Murders” is now available on Amazon.
